Adobe Master Collection Icons by Augermage Adobe Master Collection Icons by Augermage
.:: UPDATE ::.
Added in All Adobe icons! Only cause I really had nothing else to do lol

Well, here's something awesome. I got really bored and so I decided to make some new Adobe dock icons! The previous ones were ok but these...well these are just so much better. This RAR features 256x256 PNGs and ICOs of the icon types shown in the preview. As for right now, they're only icons for the Adobe CS4 Design Premium but I hope to add the others in later. Also, there is an included preview of the AdobeBlox icons that I'm currently working on, and will release seperately within the next couple of weeks. Enjoy!

P.S. For some reason when the box pngs are made smaller, the dark lines disappear...If anyone knows a way to fix this, please let me know. The icons, however work flawlessly.

The description doesn't really fit the pack. The one shaped like "lego blocks" is another pack. :p

Love these!
But… for the life of me (at the moment), I can't remember how to apply these (Snow Leopard)?? Just did a fresh install and am forgetting all the tricks.
Anyone?

Can you use PNGs with Macs? I know for a fact they use .icns for icon files.

You mean the psd? I don't think I have it anymore, sorry. But it's really simple. Just gradients and bevels and a shine layer.

yeah, was the psd :/
when you say a 'shine' layer, what do you mean?
sorry, but I'm brazilian, and I don't understand everything :P

Ahh that's cool. I love Brazil, it's really nice down there from the pictures I saw. It's on my visit list for a trip around the world. Anyway a shine layer is basically just a layer over the top of all the others in Photoshop to make it look shiny, like glass.

so nice that you love Brazil, is really cool here. When you come here, I'm sure that you'll enjoy. Btw, it would be something like gloss? Or a kind of light reflection? Well, I'll try it here! Thanks ^^

just imagine light shining on glass. You should be able to see a slightly faded white over the icon, that's the shine.

yeah, that I saw. but my trouble now is make the text. What font you've used? and how you managed to make the 'borders'? I think that you've used Bevel and Emboss, but, how? :P

Yea, it was bevel. I just lowered the opacity on black to make it look like it blends in more. I used the Myriad Pro font as well, and applied a gradient overlay. If you want me to, I can prepare a psd for you, but you'll have to give me a few days.

GREAT ICONS!!!!!

PERFECTLY WELL DONE
I DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT THOUGH
THEY LOOCK VERY GOOD, LAARGE MEDIUM OR SMALL

THE LINES SEEM TO DISSAPEAR SIMPLY BECAUSE THEYRE TOO SMALL LIKE... TO BE WELL SHOWN EVEN WHEN TE ICONS ARE REALLY LITTLE, ITS ALL THANKS TO THE MONITOR... NOT ENOUGH PIXELS PER INCH LIKE TO SHOW THEM PERFECTLY EVEN WHEN THEYRE SMALL

ANYWAYS...
GREAT ICONS
THATS IT
;)

OH ANKD THANKS A LOT 4 THEM

Your Zip file contains PNGs of both designs, but you've included the ICOs in the white square design only (though you included them twice.) :)

Which of the "dark lines" are you referring to in the PNGs? (When you say they disappear.)

Oh and the I'm talking about the dark scan lines on the boxes. On my computer, at least. The smaller the picture is, the lines get harder to see and eventually disappear.

What OS are you using?

Oh, I forgot to answer your other question... I am on a PC (Vista) right now, but use a Mac as well.

Gotcha.

You can only revise each size manually to re-ad the lines (and even at that, the 32 pixel one is the limit.) Here's why:

When you re-size, you actually "redimension" the image and the pixels are "averaged", making single-pixel lines merge to an anti-aliased version of themselves less than a pixel in width. If it needs to redimension even smaller, that line is "averaged" out of existence, so once it's made smaller, you have to go back in (with Photoshop or whatever you're using) and add them back in manually.

Hope that makes sense. If you want, I can do one for you and show you what I mean.

Thanks for the great work, though. Awesome icons.

Yea I understand what you mean. But the icons look fine, I mean the dark lines are harder to see but they're still there. I'm going to fix that. I was talking about the PNGs. When they're put into a dock program they disappear because they've been made smaller and I wondered if it was possible to fix those.

I'm going to be updating the pack soon so I'll update all that so I won't have anymore problems. But if you notice anything else let me know and I'll try to fix it.

Uhh not true. The adobe box 16x16 icons are the same as the white icons because the boxes in 16x16 form are impossible to see.

Ahhh... you're right. I just saw the tiny file lcons in the directory.

I opened the box format ico files and replaced the 16x16's with a sharpened/contrast controlled version of the "box" one and it's quite viewable. Thanks for pointing this out, though.
